Accessibility
Built to be read by everyone.
A publication is only useful if people can read it. Here is what we do, and what we know is not yet perfect.
What we aim for
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, including text over photographs.
- Full keyboard use, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels in the main navigation and controls.
- All movement reduced when your device asks for reduced motion. The homepage photographs never change on their own.
- All content available as plain HTML without JavaScript. Only search and the menu overlays depend on it, and both have plain link alternatives.
Known limits
We test with automated checks and keyboard navigation. We have not yet commissioned an audit by people who use assistive technology day to day. Some comparison tables scroll sideways on small screens, and those regions can be focused and scrolled by keyboard.
Accessibility while travelling
This statement covers this website only. It says nothing about access at sites, hotels or vehicles in Türkiye. If you have access needs for a journey, raise them directly with whichever operator you use.
